This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). PLUMBING Plans: 1. Note and specify all piping materials and sizes, P2609. 2. Provide the longest length measurement. Use G2413.4.1 to determine the required developed length to be used in sizing tables. G2413.4.1 Longest length method: Length is from Meter to the furthest connected appliance. Use this same length to determine all pipe sizes. 3. Use Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe) to calculate correct required pipe sizes. Size the pipe based on the length from the meter to the farthest attached appliance and max total demand of all attached appliances using Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe). 4. If the longest length from the meter to the farthest attached appliance is greater than 200 feet then the 1” pipe is undersized per Table G2413.4(1) and total demand (135k BTU). 5. If the Length from the meter to the water heater is greater than 200 feet, then the ½” pipe to the wall heater is undersized per Table G2413.4(1) and wall heater demand (35k BTU). 6.
