1) Provide load calculations including the EV charger (Standard or Optional are accepted). As of Jan. 1, the City of Tucson has adopted the 2024 I-codes and 2023 NEC. Verify that all calculations adhere to the variables present in the new code. EVSE to be calculated at a minimum of 7.2 kW or nameplate rating, whichever is greater. Conductors and OCPDs are to be sized as continuous loads (80% rule) 220.57
2) Provide a one-line diagram with all equipment to be installed. Show the number of conductors required for this installation and the conduit size to determine conduit fill does not exceed 40%. Include EGC and grounded conductors.
3) Show the location of the outlet is protected from vehicular impact, indicate return wall depth or show method that will protect the charger and associated electrical equipment E3404.10, 110.27(B)
4) EVSE outlet must be GFCI-capable, alternatively provide a means of GFCI protection (including GFCI Overcurrent Protection Devices (OCPD)) 625.54
