The overhead service conductors to service 2 are a life safety concern that needs to be addressed due to the new equipment and modules being installed. The City of Tucson has adopted the 2018 IRC for residential buildings, if TEP has less stringent requirements they do not apply to COT review and approval. Per the adopted code, the OHE line requires 8’ clearance over the roof, see E3604.2.1 and Figure E3604.2.1. For consideration of the existing line to remain as-is, you will need to file an appeal to the Building Official. https://www.tucsonaz.gov/Departments/Planning-Development-Services/PDSD-Sandbox/Building-Code-Modification-Appeals 2. The address is an issue because TEP generally will not accept the Electrical Clearance unless the meter has a unique address/unit associated with it. The address posted on the structure is 2562 N FREMONT AV.
