1. Provide information on the existing roof. What roofing material is being replaced?
2. What is the slope of the existing roof?
3. You mentioned below that you will not be touching the existing rafters. What is the size of the existing rafters and at what interval?
4. You indicated that you will be using shingles to replace the existing. Please be specific. Is it wood shingle, is it asphalt shingle, is it slate shingle. etc ???
5. Minimum 5/8 inch thickness of roof sheathing per IRC R803 & R503.
6. What are you using to ensure that the roof valleys not leak and be waterproof. Provide this information.
7. Specify the type of fastener as well as the spacing of the fasteners at the permeter as well as within the field.
8. Do mention the material that will be placed on top the sheathing as underlayment prior to installation of roofing material.
9. Please resubmit.
