This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). General comments: 1. Provide a complete Site Plan. Indicate the location and size of buildings, utility meters and lines supporting the alterations, R106.1.1. Show location of the generator and distance from the electric meter and gas meter. 2. Provide the manufacturer’s specification sheets for the generator and any transfer switch, R106.1. Gas Plans: 3. Provide a gas piping plan showing the connection from the meter to the generator. Include pipe size, type and length. Provide generator gas demands. G2413.4.1. 4. Size the pipe based on the length from the meter to the generator and max demand of the generator using Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe). Electrical Plans: 5. Provide a complete line diagram showing all electrical work and all equipment being installed, NEC 110.2, R106.1.1 6. Provide a panel schedule, for the any backup service panel, showing panel size, circuit numbers, ampacity, wire size and general description, E3404.13 & E3706.2. 7. Show all of the conductor’s type and size from the generator to the ATS, E3601.2. Also verify the conduit fill %. Max conduit fill is 40%, E3907.8. 8.
