Please resubmit addressing the following comment:
1) Please clarify scope of work, per IBC 105.3, scope of work must be stated to ensure review is conducted accurately. Based on scope of work, some comments may be forthcoming and those listed below may be redundant. Please refer to 2024 IRC and 2023 NEC including City of Tucson code amendments as adopted by Mayor and Council Jan. 1, 2026.
2) List the locations of new smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms based on comments from CE-VIO0326-01185. Smoke alarms shall be installed in locations listed on R310.3 and carbon monoxide alarms shall be installed per R311.3. R310.2.2, R311.2.2
3) For A/C unit, equipment requiring service must be GFCI protected 210.8( E), E3902.13
4) Where applicable (see E3902) GFCI shall be installed. Show outlets in Bathroom and/or Washer/Dryer circuits will be GFCI protected.
5) Provide load calculations (Standard or Optional is accepted). As of Jan. 1, the City of Tucson has adopted the 2024 I-codes and 2023 NEC. Verify that all calculations adhere to the variables present in the new code.
6) If applicable, a Surge Protection Device (SPD) or SPD model number must be identified on the plans for all service panel replacements supplying 100% of the dwelling. This requirement can be satisfied by providing the manufacturer’s specifications or model number for the SPD to verify that it is UL listed and code compliant E606.5 NEC 230.67
7) An architectural feature or overhang does not provide full cutoff status. 401.2.1(4) All outdoor lighting must adhere to 2012 Outdoor Lighting Code
