1) A Surge Protection Device (SPD) or SPD model number must be identified on the plans for all service panel replacements supplying 100% of the dwelling. This requirement can be satisfied by providing the manufacturer’s specifications or model number for the SPD to verify that it is UL listed and code compliant E606.5 NEC 230.67
