Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). General comments: 1. Provide a complete Site Plan. Indicate the location and size of buildings, utility meters and lines supporting the alterations, R106.1.1. Show location of the generator and distance from the electric meter and gas meter. 2. Provide the manufacturer’s specification sheets for the generator and the auto transfer switch, R106.1. Gas Plans: 3. Size the pipe based on the length from the meter to the generator and max demand of the generator using Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe). Electrical Plans: 5. Provide a panel schedule, for the ATS, showing panel size, circuit numbers, ampacity, wire size and general description, E3404.13 & E3706.2. 6. Show all of the conductor’s type and size from the generator to the ATS, E3601.2. Also verify the conduit fill %. Max conduit fill is 40%, E3907.8. 7.
