Modifications to the gas system require the submission of a gas pipeline template (or equivalent) identifying the pipe material, pipe size, and developed length of each section to determine code compliance, G2401.1, G2413.1, R301.1. Note: Indicate any transitions in material from one section to another (e.g. underground poly to above-ground black iron). 2) 2nd WH is not present or permitted. Please show where the WH is and which branch will supply the additional gas load. Additionally, provide the fuel gas demand, pipe material, size and length of the branch supplying the WH. 3) If this water heater is installed/will be installed after July 1, 2026. It must adhere to IECC 2024 codes and will require the following: Show water heater fuel type, water heater model and efficiency rating information + Water Heater must adhere to the minimum requirements based on 2024 IECC R403.5. |
