Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC).

1. Building Safety policy requires that the electrical design sheets be Sealed by an Arizona registered Electrical Engineer, for systems with OCPDs greater than or equal to 100A. Provide updated plans with the appropriate sheets sealed, R106.1.
2. Provide the Existing conductor size/type that the line side tap is being made to, R106.1. Show a conductor sized per NEC requirements.
3. Demonstrate the ability for supporting the existing and additional dead and wind loads by providing an Arizona registered engineer’s calculation, design and seal for verifying the truss load carrying capacity, the metal roof attachment to the structure and the S-5 camp attachment to the metal roof. R324.4, R106.1.
4. Clarify the placement of the solar modules. Sheets 5 and 6 show 20 MI connected modules as being on the roof of the main house. The site plan does not show any modules on the main house. Only on the detached barn.
5. Aerial views of the structure shows existing solar modules attached to the barn. There is no completed permit history for these modules. Clarify in the scope of work what is being done with these unpermitted modules.
