As part of your Design Package, please include the following items combined into a single PDF: project description, site plan or roof plan, photographs of existing conditions (provide photographs of entire facades), product names/specifications/brochures showing the type, style, and color of proposed roof. Also include the Historic Property Inventory Form for the property, which can be accessed here: https://maps2.tucsonaz.gov/preservation/inventoryforms/BL-C-121.pdf. IMPORTANT: If structural changes are proposed to the roof, a Full Historic review will be required and additional materials such as elevations and a roof section and details will be required. SUBMIT DESIGN PACKAGE IN HISTORIC SUB-RECORD: Create a “Special Districts-Historic” Sub-record in TDC Online and submit your Design Package as a single PDF. NEXT STEPS IN REVIEW PROCESS: Once the Design Package is deemed complete and fees are paid, staff will schedule a Minor Historic Review with representatives of the applicable Historic Zone Advisory Board and the Tucson-Pima County Historical Commission, Plans Review Subcommittee (PRS). Following board and commission review, comments will be forwarded to the PDSD Director, who makes a final decision. Conditions of approval are possible and revisions to the Design Package may be required before final Historic approval is granted.
