Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Aerial views of the property show the overhead service conductors passing over the roof of the multiple structures. The overhead service conductor over the structures requires an 8’ clearance above the roof, E3604.2.1. The 8’ clearance is required to be maintained for a distance of 3’ from the edge of the roof. Show a mast height necessary to achieve this clearance.
