PLUMBING Plans:
1. Note and specify all piping materials and sizes, P2609.
2. Provide a gas piping plan showing the connection from the meter to ALL attached appliances. Include pipe size, type and length. Show connection, lengths and sizes, from gas meter to all gas appliances. Modifications to the gas system requires the submission of a gas pipeline template (or equivalent), G2401.1, , G2413.1, R301.1
3. Provide manufacturer’s spec sheet demonstrating Appliance fuel input or use prescriptive number in gas piping template, R106.1.1.
4. Provide total demand from all appliances, G2413.2.
5. Use G2413.4.1 and G2413.4.2 to determine the required developed length to be used in sizing tables.
a. G2413.4.1 Longest length method: Length is from Meter to the furthest connected appliance. Use this same length to determine all pipe sizes.
b. G2413.4.2 Branch length method: Branch length is from Meter to the furthest connected appliance on given branch. Any unsized branches, use length from Meter to the furthest appliance.
6. Use Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe) to calculate correct required pipe sizes. (Table G2413.4(7) Polyethylene Plastic Pipe).
7. Size the pipe based on the length from the meter to the farthest attached appliance and max total demand of all attached appliances using Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe), Table G2413.4(7) Polyethylene Plastic Pipe. Note: The length is measured from the meter to the furthest attached appliance for all sizing, G2413.4.1.

8. Please provide a gas piping diagram indicating if this is going to be a dedicated gas line to the new water heater location or a modification of the existing gas piping system.
