Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC), Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS). 1. Show compliance with the pool enclosure barrier requirement by including a continuous 5-foot barrier around the pool, ARS 36-1681. 2. Show pool cover as ASTM F1346 listed, ISPSC 305.4.2. 3. NOTE: An ASTM F1346 pool cover can replace the 4’ pool barrier from a dwelling and a UL 2017 alarm system for doors and windows.
