This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. The gas line from Meter to guest house is undersized in two locations. 2. Given the developed length of 120’ and the total demand of 180 CF/H, 1 1/4” pipe size is required from the meter to the first T. 3. Given the developed length of 120’ and the branch demand of 100 CF/H, 1” pipe size is required from the First T to the Next T. 4. Use G2413.4.1 to determine the required developed length to be used in sizing tables. a. Length is measured from the Meter to the furthest connected appliance. The provided length on your plans = 120’. 5. Use Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe) to calculate correct required pipe sizes.
