This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). General Notes: 1. Provide a clear and concise construction plan set. Provide legible notation. Sample plans are available at https://www.tucsonaz.gov/pdsd/residential-permits Electrical Plans: 1. Provide an electrical riser diagram, E3403. Notate the grounding and bonding method, E3607. Metallic gas lines must be bonded and not be used as the primary grounding method, E3608. 2. Provide an updated panel schedule showing panel size, circuit numbers, ampacity, wire size and general description, E3404.13 & E3706.2. Provide a panel schedule showing wire size of each circuit or notate the wire size for each protection rating, E3702.2. 3. Designate the circuit number at the location of each light fixture, receptacle, appliance, and equipment disconnect switch, E3404.12. 4. Use Table E3705.5.3 for sizing 15, 20 & 30 AMP branch circuit conductors and protection ratings. 5. Show receptacle outlets at wall spaces 2’ or more with no wall point (exclude door openings) more than 6’ from a receptacle outlet, E3901.2. 6. Show receptacle outlets at each kitchen counter space wider than 12” with no point along the wall line more than 24” from a receptacle outlet, E3901.4.1. Show receptacles within 2’ of counter edges or corners and no more than 4’ apart. 7. Island or peninsular counter tops require at least one receptacle outlet within 12” below the countertop surface, E3901.4.2 and E3901.4.3. 8. Show two or more 2O AMP small appliance circuits at the kitchen countertop receptacle outlets; they may also serve the breakfast room and dining room, but not other locations, E3703.2 and E3901.3. GFCI protected, E3902.6. 9. Hallways of 10’ or more in length require a receptacle, E3901.10. 10. Smoke alarms are required outside each separate sleeping area, R314.3.2. Show a smoke alarm in each bedroom and outside the doorway in the immediate vicinity. In addition to within bedrooms add a detector in the hallway to bedrooms 2 and 3. 11. Show the location of a carbon monoxide detector outside of bedroom doors, when the dwelling includes an attached garage or gas appliance, R315.
