This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Equipment shall be positively attached to the roof structure with a minimum of one connection per 10 sf of equipment (minimum of two connections per piece of equipment) or provide a structural analysis of the roof and S-5! attachment, sealed by an Arizona registered engineer, R106.1. 2. Clarify if this is a metal roof and thus in need of life safety solutions for grounding/bonding a metal roof. NEC 250.116 IN, 250.194(B). 3. Provide complete roof framing information for determining load carrying capacity of each structure supporting a collector group. Show size, spacing and span of all framing members including trusses, joists, rafters and beams, R301.1, R324.4. 4. All New equipment, including Panels, Racking systems, Inverters etc.. Shall be UL listed. R324.3. Provide UL listing for S-5! Clamps or provide a structural analysis of the roof and S-5! attachment, sealed by an Arizona registered engineer.
