Addition of a new gas appliance requires a complete gas plan:

2. Provide total demand from all appliances.
3. Use G2413.4.1 and G2413.4.2 to determine the required developed length to be used in sizing tables.
a. G2413.4.1 Longest length method: Length is from Meter to the furthest connected appliance. Use this same length to determine all pipe sizes.
b. G2413.4.2 Branch length method: Branch length is from Meter to the furthest connected appliance on given branch. Any unsized branches, use length from Meter to the furthest appliance.
4. Use Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe) to calculate correct required pipe sizes. (Table G2413.4(7) Polyethylene Plastic Pipe).
5. Show a GFCI receptacle outlet on the same level within 25’ of new exterior HVAC equipment, E3901.12.
