Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Provide details of the Ridge Beam’s connection to the support post and the existing structure, R106.1, R301.1. 2. Show rafter (truss) to the existing wall connections using (H2.5) ties having a resistance to uplift of not less than 365 pounds, R802.11.1. (City of Tucson Amended). 3. Note on the plans that the new sheathing shall join the existing roof sheathing over the blocking support.
