Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. The addition of the Ramada to the scope of work requires additional construction documents. This review needs to be done under a Residential Alterations/additions permit type, not a fence/wall permit. >>> Is the Ramada a pre-designed and manufactured structure? 2. If so: The 19’x18’ pre-designed ramada requires a complete plan set sealed by an Arizona registered Engineer. Provide plans with wind load calculations and foundation design sealed by an Arizona engineer for the pre-designed assembly, R106.1. Sealed plans are usually available from the manufacturer for pre-designed assemblies. 3. Provide complete building plans for the Ramada. Building plans shall include, but may not be limited to, foundation plans, elevations and section details etc. Detail all connections of foundations, posts, rafters, truss’, ledger boards, beams, etc. Foundation plan, Framing Plan, Roof framing plan.
