This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. Building cannot approve without Zoning approval for an accessory structure on an adjoining parcel. 2. Where PV source and output circuits operating at maximum system voltages greater than 30 volts are installed in readily accessible locations, circuit conductors shall be guarded or installed in Type MC Cable or in a raceway, NEC 690.31(A). 3. Where live parts of electrical equipment are operating at 50 to 1000 volts, such equipment shall be guarded against accidental contact by approved enclosures or other approved means, NEC110.27(A). 4. Where subject to physical damage, conductors, raceways, equipment, and cables shall be protected. NEC 300.4 Protection Against Physical Damage, NEC110.27(B) Prevent Physical Damage. Lot coverage calculation that meets the requirements of UDC Article 6.4.3 & the example shown on the residential plot requirements. (Lot coverage must include vehicular use area whether improved or unimproved) . Lot coverage does not include porches, UDC Article 6.4.3.C.1.a but does include vehicle use area measured within the outside edges of any area allocated to vehicle use, whether improved or unimproved. b. Zoning of adjacent parcels c. All Utility lines d. Property line distances (It appears that the solar being proposed is on another parcel please clarify additional comment may be forthcoming.) 2.COMMENT: Draw dimension and label the height of the new structure measured from design grade to top of wall.
