2nd Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken.
Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC)

1. From the Enphase data sheet, the maximum number of units that can be on a 20A branch circuit is 11. Your plans have 12 units connected to the 20A branch circuit. Correct your plans to meet the manufacture’s specifications.
2. Provide a site plan that shows location of all system components on roof or ground. (Panel layout, number of strings, combiner box, main service panel, etc.). The provided Site Plan is not clear where the main service panel is. The DG disconnect switch must be within 10’ of the main service entrance. R106.1
3. Show a junction box in the line diagrams for the connection of all the Q-Cables.
4. Show the main service panel with its bus bar rating and its main breaker rating on the line diagrams. Provide the spec sheets for the “New Load Center”. Note on the plans if this permit includes a panel upgrade or relocation.
5. Provide manufacturer specification sheets for all collector panels, inverters, mounting hardware, combiner box, meter socket, disconnect, etc. R324.3. The only sheets provided are for the IQ8A micro inverters.
6. Additional warning markers are required. NEC 705.12(B)(2)(3) b, NEC 690 Part VI Markings – NEC 690.51-58
7. Condense all the documents into a single file for resubmission.
