When the plan set is not prescriptive (covered by material sizes and fastening) an Arizona registered engineer must prepare plans with performance (calculated) compliance.

The hallway structure is to provide firefighter passage from one roof to the other. Provide plans showing the roof sheathing with 20 pound per square foot live load capability without a five foot difference in height from the hobby shop.
