This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. Replacing the roof sheathing requires a roof framing plan showing compliance with structural and insulation requirements. 2. Provide a complete roof framing plan with truss, beams and rafters sized with appropriate prescriptive load carrying capacity, R301.1. Notate and specify a complete roofing system: Roof sheathing, size (1/2” OSB) and method of installation (moisture barrier, flashing, etc.), R803.2, R905. 3. Show or notate required nailing per R803.2.3. 4. Show a roof ventilation plan with a minimum of 1” air space between the insulation and roof sheathing, R806. And show attic vent openings effectively sized for the attic area per R806.2. Or provide condensation control with an air-impermeable rigid insulation material tight to the roof sheathing with a minimum R-5 value, R806.5. This site is located in the HR-2 zone (UDC 4.7.9). A single family residence is a permitted use in the zone, (Table 4.8-2), subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.7.B.6, .9, & .10. 1. Provide a residential plot plan that meets the requirements found at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/pdsd/forms/Residential_Plot_Plan_Requirements.pdf. The plot plan shall be done on a single page and be drawn to scale. COMMENTS: the following comments are relative to an application for Historic Review (UDC 5.8.8). 2.
