Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC).

1. Note and specify all piping materials and sizes, P2609.
2. Provided ¾” pipe is undersized. Provide an updated gas pipe plan using the Gas_Piping_Template below. Show the whole system on one drawing and with clearly marked lengths and sizes. Show demand for each attached appliance.

4. Provide manufacturer’s spec sheet demonstrating Appliance fuel input or use prescriptive number in gas piping template.
5. Provide total demand from all appliances.
6. Use G2413.4.1 to determine the required developed length to be used in sizing tables.
a. G2413.4.1 Longest length method: Length is from Meter to the furthest connected appliance. Use this same length to determine all pipe sizes.
7. Use Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe) to calculate correct required pipe sizes. See GAS_HANDOUT_2018_IRC document listed above.
