Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. P2604.4, Protection of footings. Trenching installed parallel to footings and walls shall not extend into the bearing plane of a footing or wall. Show all trenching required for plumbing and electrical. 2. E4203.4.4 Existing lighting outlets/luminaires located within 5’ of pool edge, must be rigidly attached to existing structure, located no less than 5’ above maximum water level, and GFCI Protected.
