This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). General: 1. Provide a complete site plan. Indicate the location and size of buildings, utility meters and lines supporting the alterations, R106.1.1. Show the utility lines requiring upgrade or replacement. Label the intended use of the shed. The addition of the HVAC unit requires compliance with the energy code. Tucson is in climate zone 2B. The simplified prescribed energy values for glazing is U=0.40, ceiling R=38 (R-30 for a qualifying room addition) and walls R=13. Show the “R” values of insulation and the maximum “U” factors of the windows and doors on the plans as well as the solar heat gain coefficient SHGC minimum value of 0.25, N1102.1. 3. Provide the size of the HVAC unit being installed and provide the manufacturer’s specification sheets, R106.1. Electrical Review: 4. Provide a panel schedule, clearly labeled for both the main panel and the sub panel, showing wire size of each circuit or notate the wire size for each protection rating, E3702.2. Provide the actual OCPD size being used and show conductors sized correctly. 5. Designate the circuit number at the location of each light fixture, receptacle, appliance, and equipment disconnect switch, E3404.12. Sheds less than 200 sq. ft. do not require a building permit but do require a zoning compliance review when placed on a parcel within the City of Tucson. As no compliance review was conducted the following applies. 1.
