Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. Provide a ledger detail. Show ledger to wall connections consistent with Figure R606.11 (1). 2. Show size, spacing and span of all framing members, trusses, joists, rafters, beams, glue-lams, lintels, headers, ledgers and blocking, R301.1. >> provide porch depth measurements and span. 3. Provide a complete roof framing plan with the corner ridge beam sized with appropriate load carrying capacity. Design ridge structural member that supports rafters as a beam when the roof pitch is less than 3” to 12”, R802.3. Or show roof structural members with rafter ties (or ceiling joists) and collar ties (ridge straps) when the roof pitch is equal or greater than 3” to 12”, R802.3. >> provide a corner ridge beam detail showing rafters connections. 4. Provide a measurement from the face of the porch structure to the property line for fire separation compliance verification.
