PLUMBING Plans:
1. Clarify total demand from all appliances. Plans show Furnace x 2 = 130,00Btu. Are there two furnaces each with a load of 130,000Btu? Clarify and label each furnace both in the load table and on the Pipe layout plan. Where is the “Future wall furnace” on the Pipe layout plan?
2. I Used G2413.4.1 to determine the required developed length from meter to furthest appliance (60’).
3. Use Table G2413.4(1) (metallic pipe) to calculate correct required pipe sizes. Clarification is required for location and demand of 3 different furnaces. Following sizing corrections required:
a. Meter to the “T” above the WS requires 1 ¼”. (7’, 14’, 2’ and 8’ segments from the meter)
b. 14’ segment to WH requires 1”.
4. Additional comments may be required depending on furnace locations and load clarification.
