This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. STRUCTURAL/FIRE WALL PLANS: 1. Any structure placed in the 3-foot fire separation distance from the East-side neighboring property line requires not less than one-hour fire-resistive construction for reducing fire spread across the property line, R302.1(City of Tucson Amended). Fire rated materials are found in IBC Table 721.1(2), Items 15-1.1 to 16-1.3. 2. Roof projections extending into the 3-foot fire separation distance to the neighboring property line require not less than one-hour fire-resistive construction on the underside, R302.1 (City of Tucson Amended). The fire protected overhang may not extend closer than 24” from the property line. 3.
