This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated plans and calculations with a written response to each of the notated items indicating action taken.

1. When applying for a permit to place new equipment on existing code-compliant roofs, an allowance shall be provided for equipment weighing a maximum of 4 psf. Sheet PV 1.1 shows a value greater than 4psf.
2. Equipment shall be positively attached to the roof structure with a minimum of one connection per 10 sf of equipment (minimum of two connections per piece of equipment) or provide a structural analysis of the roof and attachment, sealed by an Arizona registered engineer.
