Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated plans and calculations with a written response to each of the notated items indicating action taken.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The City of Tucson adopted the 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code and 2018 International Residential Code with amendments on 1/1/2019 along with requirements of the Arizona Revised Statute 36-1681.
1. Show the current code reference on the plans.

All engineers and architects involved in the design of the structure are to seal the related sheets of plans, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration

SITE PLAN:
1. Show compliance with the pool enclosure barrier requirement by including a continuous 5-foot barrier around the pool, ARS 36-1681. The barrier on the plans is not clear. Highlight existing or new barriers to meet code compliance.
2. Show compliance with the pool barrier from a dwelling by including a UL 2017 listed pool alarm system for doors and windows open to the pool, or show a continuous barrier around the pool, 2018 ISPSC 305.4.1.
3. Work done outside the scope of permit TC-RES-0323-03328, including barrier, electrical, plumbing and gas, will require separate Permit/s. Notes on plans indicate work shall be done by others. Clarify full scope of work done under permit TC-RES-0323-03328. When possible, all work for a complete code compliant final inspection should be on one permit.
