This site is located in the SR zone (UDC 4.7.4). A single-family residence (SFR) is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-1). See Use-Specific Standards 4.9.7.B.6, 8, & 9 and 6.6.3.

1. Per UDC Article 6.6.2.I. The maximum height of a wall or fence within a perimeter yard shall be six feet. The minimum perimeter yard in the SR Zone is 25’, UDC Table 6.3-1.A. To approve the proposed 7’-0” wall as shown on the plan a Design Development Option (DDO) for wall height will need to be submitted and approved. DDO application and requirements can be found at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/Departments/Planning-Development-Services/Planning-Zoning-Applications/Zoning-Administration. Other options for approve are 1) lower the wall to maximum height of 6’-0” or 2) move the location to meet the required 25’ setback.
