>>> The following life safety code compliance comments were not addressed. Review is conducted per IRC R104.1, R104.2, R104.3

1. Aerial views of the property show the overhead service conductors will be passing over the roof structure. The overhead service conductor over the structure requires an 8’ clearance above the roof, E3604.2.1. The 8’ clearance is required to be maintained for a distance of 3’ from the edge of the roof. Show a mast height necessary to achieve this clearance.

>>
2. If the Overhead Electrical conductors are going to be a midspan tap then the OHE conductors will pass over the existing porch and require compliance with the Overhead Electrical clearance, E3604.2.1. Clearance above the roof is a life safety issue that requires plans to show compliance.

3. Show the Expected location of the new OHE conductors on the site plan to show that the 8’ clearance is not required. Or provide overhead clearance per E3604.2.1.
