This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. The OCPD protection for the combined New System and Battery is undersized for the given currents. New = 10.6A, Battery = 20A. See sheet PV-4, Backfeed Breaker Sizing table and see the 20A OCPD shown in the Dedicated Load Center. Reference NEC 690.9(B). 2. For conductor/Raceway # 6 (See wire schedule on sheet PV-5 for Raceway #), remove the “Existing Wire Run Through Conduit” note from Sheet PV-4. 3. Show compliance with NEC 705.12(B)(2)(3) for the new 125A Sub Panel. Note the specific code section this Sub Panel shall comply with. 4.
