01/08/2024 | Light Residential Building Review (OIP) | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Permit Review TC-RES-0124-00113 (326 W 18TH ST TUCSON, AZ 85701) Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. Size the pipe based on the length from the meter to the farthest attached appliance and max total demand of all attached appliances using Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe), Note: The length is measured from the meter to the furthest attached appliance for all sizing, G2413.4.1. 2. Provide the pipe size for from the Meter to the first junction point. This segment needs to be sized for the total load on the system and cannot be verified. 3. Clarify the “Existing Line” at the top of the diagram that shows a 127,000 BTU available. Is this a capped line for future use? FYI, per Table G2413.4(1), a ¾” pipe cannot supply that value at the given length. Contact Jeremy Hamblin with any questions: Jeremy.hamblin@tucsonaz.gov |
