Zoning is unable to approve the building plan until the DDO has been approved. 1.COMMENT The minimum setback is the greater of six (6) feet, or two-thirds (2/3) the height of the structure’s wall facing each interior property line (Table 6.3-2.A). Based on a calculated wall height of 9’-3” the required perimeter yard setback from the proposed addition to the west property line is 6’-3”, proposed setback is 5’-6”. A Design Development Option (DDO) may be required to reduce the required setback, DDO application and requirements can be found at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/pdsd/documents/planning-amp-zoning/2019_ddo_for_setback_and_height_udc.pdf . The completed application shall be submitted as a PDF under assigned permit number.
