Show exterior wood siding, sheathing and wall framing with a 6” clearance above the ground (R317.1 item 5) with minimum ½” diameter anchor bolt and treated sill plates, R602.10.8 & R403.1.6. This may require a concrete stem when the floor is less than 6” above grade. 2. The simplified prescribed energy values for glazing is U=0.40, skylights U=0.65, ceiling R=38 (R-30 for small additions) and framed walls R=13. Mass wall requirement is R=4 when 50% of insulation is exterior and R=6 when applied interior, N1102.1. Show a means of achieving the prescriptive values at each new addition assembly on the plans. |
