01/26/2026 Historic NOT REQUIRED The property located at 48 W 4th Street is a contributor to the John Spring National Register Historic District. As a contributor to the district, the property is eligible for a property tax reduction if it is owner-occupied. As a National Register district, you are not required to go through the City of Tucson Historic Preservation Office (HPO) for work. However, to remain a contributing property, I would recommend that you contact that State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to discuss any proposed exterior renovations.
