Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. For Overhead Electrical service lines: Show the mast height on the electrical riser diagram providing the necessary height clearances, NEC 230.24. a. Provide 10’ clearance above pedestrian accessible areas, 2017 NEC 230.24(B)(1) b. Provide 12’ clearance above residential property and driveways (Voltage under 300v), 2017 NEC 230.24(B)(2) c. Provide 15’ clearance above residential property and driveways (Voltage greater than 300v), 2017 NEC 230.24(B)(3) 2. Provide elevation measurements for Next Upstream Manhole and Finished Floor Elevation. Provide Backwater valve protection as required. Backwater valve protection: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/pdsd/documents/building-code/2018_-_irc_amendments.pdf Section P3008.1 Where required. Where the finish floor elevation is less than 12 inches above the elevation of the next upstream manhole cover in the sewer, a backwater valve shall be installed in the building drain or branch of the building drain serving that floor.
