This site is located in the R-3 zone (UDC 4.7.12). A detached accessory structure is not a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-2). 1. Per UDC Article 6.6.2.B An accessory building shall be built only on a lot occupied by a principal building or use. That said the proposed storage container on this parcel is not allowed. At a minimum a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) would need to be approved but that is not likely to happen. Other options would be a Board of Adjustment for Variance or a Rezoning.
