1. US Chemical Storage
a. The above company is the manufacturer of this FL1907 chemical storage unit.
b. Per the manufacturer, this storage unit is a code-compliant chemical storage ready to ship and install.
c. The City of Tucson concludes that the State of Arizona categorizes this as an FBB (Factory Built Structure).
d. Please contact the State of Arizona Department of Housing and inquire about their Factory Built Building Installation Permit as well as their Installation Plan Review Approval.
e. Please contact the State of Arizona Factory Built Buildings using the contact info within this following website Contact Us | Department of Housing.
f. Submit the State approved/sealed/dated documents/drawings by uploading it with your response to these comments into your building permit record via the city’s online website. (Note, should the state declines to process…. Please submit the state’s refusal letter containing their letter head allowing the city to process.
2. DURATION
a. Is this installation going to be permanent.
b. If so, Foundation/Footing and Anchoring System shall be required.
c. Please submit detail drawings of the required footing and achoring system used.
3. LOCATION
a. The drive aisle as directly adjacent to this FBB as shown on the aerial site plan. The traffic on the drive aisle is not allowed to be impdeded.
b. Please enter the dimension between the FBB and the drive aisle.
c. Please enter the dimension between equipment enclosure fence enclosure and the FBB. The gates and accessibility must be allowed to function properly.
4. ELECTRICAL
a. According to the manufacturer’s website, this FL1907 chemical storage unit required electrical power.
b. The website also mentions this unit as having air conditioning unit and exhaust fans.
c. Please submit electrical drawings.
5. RAMP
a. Ramp is an option for this FL1907 chemical storage unit.
b. Should this be selected as an option, please do show this on your drawing making sure proper dedicated area for it to function property with its required clearances and code compliant per ICC A117.1.
6. NOTE******Submit the list of hazardous materials along with their quantities and maximum allowable quantity per control area according to IBC 414. Please do this for every chemical storage unit on the site.

1. Provide a site electrical plan showing how power is getting to the manufactured home. Show exiting and new electrical equipment, transformer, panel etc. Show Underground electoral lines and conductor sizes/types. Show conduit types and size.
2. Provide an electrical riser diagram, NEC 230.9. Notate the grounding and bonding method, NEC 250.20(B), 250.24, 250.30(A)(4). Metallic gas lines must be bonded and not be used as the primary grounding method, NEC 250.50, 250.52(B)(1).

Site Engineering:

1. After reviewing the plan set, it does not match up with the approved site plans from associated development package TD-DEV-0126-00018. The location of the three shipping containers does not quite match as approved in which they are shown on the southeast of the parking lot away from the existing building. It will be required that either the DP be revised to demonstrate what is being proposed or revise the FBB plans to align with approved site plans.
