An RV used for a residence is not a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-2). 1. Per UDC Table 4.8-2 an RV cannot be used as a residence in the R-1 Zone. A possible solution would be to obtain a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) to allow the RV to be used for a specified amount of time. TUP requirements can be found at: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/Departments/Planning-Development-Services/Planning-Zoning-Applications. Contact for the TUP is Mark Castro, 520.837.4979 or Mark.Castro@tucsonaz.gov. 2. An office use in the R-1 Zone may only be done as a Home Occupation. The Home Occupation must meet all requirements of UDC Article 4.9.7.E. Clearly demonstrate that these requirements are met for the proposed office. The travel trailer may not be used as an office. Travel trailers may only be stored on an R-1 zoned property not occupied.
