Site Engineering comments are as follows: 1) Clarify the proposed use of this building. If its intended purpose will be human habitation, option “b)” listed below, will not be permissible. 2) This project lies within an XS-100 floodplain. A floodplain use permit (FUP) with Elevation Certificate will be required. Please start a new FUP under the sub-records tab of this permit on the Tucson Development Center Portal. 3) The installation of this building must meet one of two requirements: a) The Finished floor of the building must be 23-in above adjacent grade. Or b) The building must be flood vented. Flood venting consists of at least one vent in at least two different walls. Flood vents shall have a combined net flow-thru size of 1 square inch per 1 square foot of gross floor area. The bottom of the vent opening can be no higher than 12-in above grade.
