Thank you for submitting an aerial photograph of the site. b. However, the location of this shipping container is not shown/labeled on the plan. c. Please locate/label it and provide the dimension from the property lines. 2. PERMANENT a. Is this container going to be a permanent installation on the site. b. If so, will electrical power and lights be installed on this shipping container. c. Will contents or activity within the container require heating and cooling. d. Code compliant foundation and anchoring system shall be required. e. If so, please provide the information and provide the required drawings. 3. Please resubmit. |

The proposed 8' H by 40' L by 8.5' W shipping container to the existing site will require the submission of a Development Package Site plan UDC 7.4.3.E as this constitutes as site work. In accordance with Unified Development Code (UDC) Article 3.3.3.G.2.c, a site plan (Development Package Permit) is required for the following types of development: Existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or a reconfiguration of an area outside a building. A Development Package (DP) meeting the requirements of the Checklist for Minor Changes to Commercial/Industrial Sites is required to be submitted and approved. The DP is a separate submittal from the building plans. Alvernon Way Tucson, AZ 85712 New 8.5’ x 40’ Shipping Container (1st Review) TRANSMITTAL DATE: 3/18/2026 This site is located in the R-3 zone (UDC 4.7.12). Multifamily is a permitted use in this zone (UDC Table 4.8-2) subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.7.B.6. Comments: Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. Comment: Per UDC Article 3.3.3.G.2.c, a site plan (Development Package) is required for the following types of development: Existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or a reconfiguration of an area outside a building. A Development Package (DP) meeting the minimum requirements is required to be submitted and approved. The DP is a separate submittal from the building plans.
