1. Please provide a detailed description of the work involved in this permit’s scope. IBC 105.3 for example, it appears electrical power is being extended to the property. Specifically, what is going to be stored in this container?
2. Is this “Conex” shipping container intended to be a permanent or temporary installation.
A. If it is a permanent installation; please indicate the use of the Container, provide a foundation and anchoring system design, with calculations and construction drawings prepared and sealed by an Arizona Registrant that adequately show the scope of work and compliance with the adopted building codes. Reference: Section 107.1, IBC 2018 and Arizona Revised Statutes 32-125, Board of Technical Registration Rules R4-30-304.
3. Please provide a dimensioned site plan following the guidance in the below link. Additionally, if the use is other than storage, or if any utilities are installed, please prepare plans in accordance with the City of Tucson Commercial Submittal Requirements. See link

Plans shall include (as necessary for scope of work), but may not be limited to items below:
2. Provide an electrical plan showing the location of all electrical equipment, outlets, lighting fixtures, etc.
3. Show all wiring methods in detail for all new electrical conductors and branch circuit conductors and feeders. Conductor type and conduit size/type. Note wet use requirements. NEC arts;300 and 408.4.
4. Provide a panel schedule, showing all circuits that are added. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. Include panel bus rating and A.I.C. rating. IBC 107.1.
5. Designate the circuit number on the electrical plans, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each existing, new or modified light fixtures, receptacles, gate operator, equipment disconnect switch, etc., NEC arts;300 and 408.4. IBC 107.1. Each electrical outlet should be labeled by panel and circuit number.

Additional comments may be forthcoming with complete electrical plans for the proposed site and electrical work.

02/23/2026 Site Zoning - Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. COMMENT: A development package (DP) must be submitted and approved before the related building permit for associated structures can be approved. A DP must be submitted for this site before Site Zoning will approve this permit.

2. COMMENT: The DP will be a separate application in TDC Online. See the guidelines for submittal in UDC Administrative Manual Section 2-06.0.0 (https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/tucson/latest/tucson_az_udc/0-0-0-8753).

3. COMMENT: Any resubmitted plans for this permit should match those on the approved DP.
