Upon successful verification that the structure has been removed, that the utilities remain secured & that the site is left in a safe & clean condition, the inspection items may be approved and the permit closed.

Pool Demolition:
Verify pool equipment & connection to service has been removed. Ensure that all utilities are properly terminated and capped.
Verify pool drains water accumulations.
Break out pool drains.
Drill/Jackhammer 4 inch hole in the lowest point of the pool (typically where drains are located)
Ensure no Organic matter is present before filling.

The Pima County Assessor’s effective construction date for your building or structure is 1960.
Buildings, portions of buildings or structures that are 50 years of age or older must be architecturally documented prior to demolition. Documentation will be reviewed and approved by the Historic Preservation Office before a permit is issued.
