Buildings with more than one occupancy classification identify the mixed occupancy methodology as either accessory, nonseparated, separated, or a stated combination of types. IBC 508.1 C. Please indicate if the building has fire sprinklers Yes or No 4. Please provide a COMcheck report printed on the plan or show the following information on the plans: R-value for batt and continuous insulation with location. U-Factor, PF, and SHGC for fenestration. IECC C402.1, C407.4 5. Sheet CVR: Please amend the plans so the Sheet Index includes all the sheets in this set of construction drawings. IBC 107.2.1 For example the first sheet is labeled CVR and the Sheet Index indicates SD-1.0 6. Please provide the signed and sealed structural calculations, prepared by an Arizona licensed registrant, used in the design of this project with your next submittal. IBC 107.2.7 7. Please provide calculations showing the platform has been designed for a uniform Live Load of 100 psf. IBC Table 1607 8. Please amend the plans to show the roof structure was designed to resist the gravity load of RTU 1 IBC 107.2.7 9. Please amend the plans to provide a ramp or a lift to provide an accessible route to the Baptismal platform. IBC 1103 Keep in mind if a ramp is used the requirements of IBC Section 1012 will be put into effect. 10. Please amend the plans to provide the following information. Provide complete wall sections for each type of wall and provide callouts for specific type of exterior wall covering, water-resistive barrier, weep screed clearance where applicable, bottom and top plate size type and number, sheathing type and thickness, stud type dimensions and spacing, insulation type and R-value, Interior wall covering. IBC 107.2.1 Exterior elevations are shown to scale for each building and structure. IBC 107.2.1 Grade plane, adjacent grade, floor, roof, and parapet heights are relatively dimensioned. IBC 107.2.1 Exterior wall coverings are identified and a reference to an installation detail is provided. IBC 1404.1 A specific exterior wall water resistive barrier is identified. IBC 1403.2 Details are referenced that show the water resistive barrier and flashing. IBC 107.2.4, 1402.2, 1404.4. Foam plastic insulation in exterior walls meets its restrictions. IBC 2603.5 EIFS systems show an evaluation report number and provide the report. IBC 1407.2 Provide roofing details to include shingle type, underlayment and flashing. IBC 107.2.1 Details are provided that show the flashing and intersection detailing of water resistive components at dissimilar materials, corners, ends, joints, roof to wall intersection, and as otherwise needed. IBC 107.2.4 Please provide a door schedule to include door hardware. Panic hardware is required for doors serving a space with ≥ 50 persons in A. IBC 1010.1.10 The capability for free egress is specifically shown. IBC 1010.1.9 Only the main door uses the key lock option with a readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THIS SPACE IS OCCUPIED. The unit shall comply with Sections R403.1 and R503.1.2, IECC 2018 and shall comply with the Department of Energy efficiency requirements that went into effect on January 1, 2023. 3. Please provide an engineering evaluation, prepared by an Arizona registered design professional, verifying that the new roof structure is capable of supporting the proposed rooftop HVAC unit. Please correct. Reference: IBC Section 107.2.7. 3. Please show the roof drainage plan. Clarify and show on the plans where the rainwater will discharge in relation to the sidewalk. Primary rainwater leaders may not discharge onto a sidewalk. Reference: Section 7-01.4.1 E, Technical Standards Manual, Tucson Arizona Unified Development Code. 4. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1. a. >>> Calculations table on sheet E-2.0 is missing the lighting area and the chosen compliance option. b. >>> Provide the maximum allowed lumens per Table 401.1, and the developed area of the site, and the chosen compliance option. 4. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 104.2.1, 401.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. List shielded and unshielded lights in the calculation. a. >>> The calculations table on Sheet E-2.0, doesn’t include the required shielding/full-cutoff designations for the fixtures. 5. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4. 6.
