Only the main door uses the key lock option with a readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THIS SPACE IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch (25 mm) high on a contrasting background 1010.1.9.4

1. Provide information on the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans to show that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2018.
2. Provide the specifications for the proposed new AC unit. The unit shall comply with Sections R403.1 and R503.1.2, IECC 2018 and shall comply with the Department of Energy efficiency requirements that went into effect on January 1, 2023.
3. Please provide an engineering evaluation, prepared by an Arizona registered design professional, verifying that the new roof structure is capable of supporting the proposed rooftop HVAC unit. Additionally, provide installation details, including the type of roof curb and attachment method and show the RTU on the building elevation views. Reference: IBC Section 107.2.7.

1. Please provide a watertight pan of galvanized steel, aluminum, or other approved material under the water heater with a drain to an approved location. Reference: Section 504.7, IPC 2018.
2. In the Water Riser diagram, the HWR appears to be connecting upstream of the expansion tank, but in the water heater detail the HWR is connecting between the expansion tank and water heater. Please correct. Reference: IBC Section 107.2.7.
3. Please show the roof drainage plan. Clarify and show on the plans where the rainwater will discharge in relation to the sidewalk. Primary rainwater leaders may not discharge onto a sidewalk. Reference: Section 7-01.4.1 E, Technical Standards Manual, Tucson Arizona Unified Development Code.
4. Show the location of all cleanouts for the building sewer on the site plan. Reference: Section 703.5, IPC 2018.
