Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. Please amend the plans to provide a complete list of the year and name of the adopted applicable codes from the adopting ordinance. IBC 107.2.1 For example, please include the 2018 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) and the City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code. 3. Please provide a detailed description of the work involved in this permit’s scope. IBC 105.3 4. Please amend the Use & Occupancy Classification to reflect the use of the space IBC 302.1 For example B – Professional Use 5. Please provide a COMcheck report IECC C401.2; or otherwise show compliance with energy code requirements such as R-value for batt and continuous insulation with location. U-Factor, PF, and SHGC for fenestration. IECC C402.1, C407.4 6. Please amend the site plan to show the following information. IBC 107.2.6 A. A scaled architectural site plan is provided showing all buildings or structures on the lot. IBC 107.2.6 B. Adjacent Street names. IBC 107.2.1 C. Dimensioned distances between structures and adjacent lot lines. IBC 107.2.6 D. The path(s) of exit discharge is shown to a public way or a safe dispersal area. IBC 107.2.3, 1028.5 For example, show the exit discharge for the two rear exits. E. A photometric plan or other method of showing 1 footcandle of normal power illumination at the walking surface along the path(s) of exit discharge, while the building is occupied. IBC 1008.2.1, IBC 1008.2.3 7. Please amend plans to show that all spaces are labeled with a name or further description as needed to adequately convey the intended purpose. IBC 302.1 For example is there a waiting lounge or waiting area? 8. Related to the above comment if a waiting area exists, please show a furniture plan or provide the number of occupants per IBC Table 1004.5 10. Please show the following information for the path of egress. IBC 107.2.3 11. The paths of egress are shown. IBC 107.2.3 A. The exit access travel distance is dimensioned with a clear start and stop point. IBC 1017.2 B. The common path of egress travel is dimensioned with a clear start and stop point. IBC 1006.2.1 C. Exit signs are shown at doors, and as required to direct egress, and every 100 feet. IBC 1013.1 Several more exit signs should be provided. When leaving a room or space, the exit or exit signs should be visible. 12. Please amend the plans to show this project meets the requirements of IBC Chapter 11 and 2009 ICC A117.1. For example, show how the following items meet accessibility requirements. A. Amend the plans to show the required clear floor space, turning circle, and maneuvering clearance at each accessible element, to include but not be limited to the following. B. Show either a front or parallel approach on the plans 30” x 48”, to include knee and toe clearance, where required. 2009 ICC A117.1 Chapter 3 C. Show maneuvering clearance at doors to include dimensions, 2009 ICC A117.1 Chapter 4 D. Dimension service counter heights and width to show compliance with, 2009 ICC A117.1 904 E. Show at least one of changing rooms is accessible as required, to include the turning space in the changing room. 2009 ICC A117.1 Chapter 4 13. Please amend the plans to provide any required shielding, the manufacturer’s specifications and installation guide for the X-ray equipment and room. IBC 107.2.1 F. Provide dimensions to demonstrate the X-ray room has an accessible route to include turning space. 2009 ICC A117.1 Chapter 3 G. Please provide an engineering evaluation, prepared by an Arizona registered design professional, verifying that the existing roof structure is capable of supporting the proposed HVAC fan coil units and show attachment metod. If any modifications to the existing roof framing are required to accommodate the added load, provide complete structural design and calculations prepared and sealed by an Arizona registered engineer. Reference: IBC Section 107.2.7. H. Please amend the plans to provide a metal stud table or structural calculation to demonstrate the metal studs used for interior walls and partitions that exceed 6 feet in height, including their finish materials, shall have adequate strength and stiffness to resist the loads to which they are subjected but not less than a horizontal load of 5 psf.
