Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. If the registrant is not a registered electrical engineer, the registrant must be qualified to perform such work per A.A.C. R4-30-302 and the electrical work must be incidental to the work of the registrant’s profession for the project per A.R.S. 32-143. (Incidental is defined as minor electrical work that is a result of the work of the registrant’s profession for the project). a. The provided scope of work does not meet the definition of ‘incidental’. 2. Reference sheet 7, Electrical Notes. The code references are incorrect for the scope of work on a commercial project. Provide details showing how the floor of the shower is to be constructed in accordance with the requirements of 421.5, IPC 2018 2. Provide a metering faucet for the lavatory, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10-seconds. Reference: Section 419.6, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09. 3. Please clarify how the cold plunge tubs are filled, drained, and cleaned, and identify where drained water will be discharged. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
